This pie is similar to a chess pie (simple ingredients: sugar, butter, eggs) but the addition of maple syrup takes it up a notch. The richness of the syrup combined with flaky sea salt sprinkled on top creates a pie that is sure to become your favorite.
Note: this pie does not need refrigeration and is best when consumed right away but will keep on the kitchen counter for 2 or so days. If you refrigerate, let it come to room temperature before eating.
